| Day 1 | Depart USA | THU. U.S.A.-COSTA RICA : Depart U.S.A. for San Jose, Capital of Costa Rica. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to hotel Irazu Best Western (4stars) |
| Day 2 | Tortuguero | FRI. SAN JOSE-TORTUGUERO : In the morning, your guide will pick up at your hotel and from San Jose you will travel via bus going through high mountain plateaus, eventually winding down to the coastal plain with its rich banana plantations down to Hamburgo, where you will board a jungle boat for Pachira or Mawamba lodge. | Day 3-4 | Tortuguero | SAT-SUN. JUNGLES OF TORTUGUERO : After breakfast, you will board the riverboat for a 3-6 hour voyage through the quiet river and canal system that connects it with Costa Rica's rich tropical rain forest. You are likely to glimpse birds of startling beauty, including toucans and brilliantly colored parrots. Costa Rica has more than 800 species of birds, more than all of the United States and Canada combined, and your guide will help you identify them. (B,L ,D.) |
| Day 5 | San Jose | MON. TORTUGUERO-SAN JOSE : You'll be awaken by the sounds of howler monkeys in the forest behind the Lodge. Then, after a big, family style breakfast, return by boat/car to San Jose with transfer to the hotel Irazu (B). |

DEPOSITS/FINAL PAYMENTS: Deposit of US$150.00 per person at the time of placing reservations. Final payment is due 60 days before departure. (Airline may require to do tickets in advance...so payment may need to be sent earlier to Tara Tours Inc.)
CANCELLATIONS:
45 days or more -full refund less $75 cancellation fee; 44-30 days $100 fee; 29-15 days will be subject to a charge of 60% of total tour cost; 14 days or less -no refunds.
